Shelton Color Guard

Britney Guedes has worked with the Shelton Color Guard team several times to create social media content aiming to promote their current shows, educate students on the activity, and increase recruitment.

The largest project Britney has done with Shelton Color Guard has been their Alumni Series, where she worked hard to connect with Alumni from the program and independently produce, shoot and edit interviews with them as the focus. During this time, she also put together an extensive archival log of footage for the team, ensuring that they always have it readily available for recruitment materials in the future.

Britney is also currently the head coach of the Shelton Color Guard and choreographs and designs all of their performances.

Color Guard Team by Alyssa Tuell

During the Fall and Winter 2026 season, Britney Guedes also worked on a capstone project with a color guard student where they produced a short documentary about the team.

Former student, Alyssa Tuell, directed and scripted this piece, while Britney Guedes mentored them through the process and worked as their camera operator, editor and graphic designer to help piece together their vision.

The Steve Wilkos Show

Seasons 16 - 19

Britney Guedes worked on The Steve Wilkos Show where she assisted with the post production team, and acted as liaison between legal, graphics, and production teams to streamline communication and workflow.

TOMBOY

TOMBOY is an autobiographical documentary created by Britney Marie Guedes. The film explores their own relationship to gender over time.

Tomboy premiered at Hofstra's 25th Annual film festival and received a Special Jury Consideration for Best Film Award.

HLN Original Series

Britney Guedes spent several months working with HLN Original series on the shows Forensic Files, Very Scary People, Violent Earth and How It Really Happened. She conducted extensive research, maintained logs of archival footage, and assisted throughout the entire production process.

Britney Marie Guedes worked as a production assistant and video editor for Framework Tech Media from Dec 2020 to Jan 2022. This video is one of the many they worked on during this time. During this position she also created content for Wix.com, LinkedIn Learning, Blisk.io and Udemy.com.

Girls on the Run Long Island

During the Spring 2022 semester Britney Marie Guedes worked as a director and editor while creating promotional content for Girls on the Run. She completed 5 different pieces of media, 1 long form, 4 short form videos to be used within their email marketing and social media marketing.

COMMUTE

COMMUTE is an observational documentary created by Britney Marie Guedes following the commute from a quiet Long Island station, into Penn Station.

FROSTY

FROSTY is a short documentary following professional bowler Zane Lipson, directed and edited by Britney Marie Guedes.
